Week 18 – Theme: “Red”
Constructions in red-brick are very much part of the Danish architectural tradition – all the way from the Chancery House next to Christiansborg which originally housed the Danish civil service to ordinary family houses. Here, we see one of the walls of Buddinge Church, a 1970s suburban church which combines modernist style with traditional elements.
Week 19 – Open theme
Denmark is a pretty flat country but you may encounter one or the other hilly place. Vejle is situated in a valley created during the last ice age and this is the view from the office we use at UC Lillebælt’s campus (ok, it’s only one building) in Vejle.
