Erling Jepsen is one of the many warped minds who populate Denmark. Unfortunately, I missed the film made over his novel “Kunsten at græde i kor” (I think it will be called “The Art of Crying” in English) which ran in Danish cinemas earlier this year, but the book is truly incredible. This is one dysfunctional family.

Next out is the sequel “Med venlig deltagelse” which has been dramatised both as a play and a film. We’re still waiting for the film but the play opened at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen last Friday with Ghita Nørby and Jens Albinus playing the main characters.

And I’ll be attending a performance later this month. :-D
