Yes, it looks cute but it is dead. And how comes that every shot bear has to be documented by local media?

This is just to note that Danish police arrested a number of men on terrorism suspicions last night.

Discussing the dynamics of terrorism is beyond my field of competence but as I understand it, research has shown that micro- or group-dynamics rather than macro-politics are often behind the development of terrorist cells both in Europe and other parts of the world.

Some reactions to yesterday’s agreement between the government and the Danish People’s Party over income tax-cuts:

1. The financial sector is not happy (argument: The tax cuts will not create new jobs)
2. The Conservatives are not happy (and promise that the Danish People’s Party does not have a veto on future tax policy-agreements. The DPP claims that it does have a veto over tax policy until 2015 (…!))
3. The Social Democrats announce that they will cancel the agreement after an election (well, duh…)

Now the epidemiologists tell us that being a rock-star can indeed seriously damage your health.
