Beliefs and Knowledge
While we’re at it: Two more quizzes from Pew.
First, I’m a Liberal (in American terms).
Strongest preference for diplomacy over use of military force. Pro-choice, supportive of gay marriage and strongly favor environmental protection. Low participation in religious activities. Most sympathetic of any group to immigrants as well as labor unions, and most opposed to the anti-terrorism Patriot Act.
On the other hand, we should note that social issues (again in American parlance) are included would see most Scandinavians in the Liberal camp.
Second, I’m better informed than the average American (but I really ought to do better):
And the relative score:
I’m a Connector
More strange internet surveys – this time by Pew Internet & American Life Project. As stated in the headline, I qualify as a connector. (Hat tip: Crooked Timber)

Their cell phones have a lot of features…
Okay, no: My mobile phone is from 2003 and its most advanced feature is the ability to send and receive SMS’es.
Connectors, which make up 7% of the [U.S.] population, have a median age of 38 … The typical Connector has been online for 9 years, which suggests they were a second-wave of late 1990s adopters. Most are women (55%) and they rate above average in educational attainment and income.
My computer brings out my feminine side. Well, who would have thought that?
