So, what have the politicians been up to while I was away?
In Denmark, the government finished negotiations with the Social Democrats, the Danish People’s Party and the Social Liberal Party about reforms of the pensions system, education policies and integration policies.
The details can be found here and I’ll do my best to return to that subject.
In Sweden, the annual Almedal week on Gotland is under way. With a little luck, it should be the last of its kind.
Oh, and the centre-right alliance has presented a truly idiotic proposal to abolish property taxes. (The proposal is available as a pdf-file here). I’ll return to that subject as well in the near future.
